It's quite easy actually and works nicely, so even in case his stick is not officially supported, he still will be able to use it. I rigged mine Logitech Attack 3 to work in AC7 through X360CE. Very challenging and has workshop support if you'd like to tweak things around. There's Sky Rogue, a pure aerial roguelite with a cartoon aesthetic. most people weren't into it but form your own opinion. There's also the spinoff Assault Horizon that came to PC. If you have the means to play them, there's a couple decades worth of console releases in the franchise. Only DLC's I'd recommend are the missions IF you enjoyed the campaign. There's Ace Combat 7, which despite being 2 years old is still going for $60. It is inspired by the Ace Combat series and is set in an alternate Earth that was afflicted by a worldwide cataclysm. It is also apparently the result of a successful crowdfunding project which is honestly shocking to me. One thing I'm realizing now is that the PC market for games very similar to Project Wingman is actually quite narrow, which is both surprising and unfortunate.
